Research Interests

I have an interest in host-parasite evolution, insect immunity and parasitology. My current research focuses on investigating the genetic basis of host resistance to parasites. My work aims to identify the genomic regions responsible for producing variation in host resistance and examine these regions for signatures of selection. In order to address these questions I am utilising the Drosophila-parasitoid model system to investigate the genetic basis of variation in host encapsulation ability using Braconid and Euclid parasitoid wasps.
